The Dashboard tab provides a live overview of your sitemap and IndexNow status without leaving the admin panel.
Sitemap Index Links Panel
This panel reads your live sitemap index file and lists all individual sitemap URLs it contains, along with their last-modified timestamps.
Use this to:
- Verify all expected sitemaps (products, categories, brands, etc.) are present
- Check when each sitemap was last generated
- Confirm language-specific sitemaps are being produced for multilingual stores
If a sitemap type is missing from this list, check that its toggle is enabled in the Sitemap tab and that the relevant content (products, categories, etc.) exists in your store.
Sitemap Index URL
Your sitemap index URL is displayed prominently at the top of the Dashboard. This is the URL you submit to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
With .htaccess enabled: https://yourstore.com/sitemap_index.xml
AI Feed Index Panel
Shows:
- Pagination summary — total products, products per page, total feed pages
- Language-wise feed URLs — links to the first few feed pages per language (up to 5 shown; all URLs are available in the live feed index)
Use this to confirm the AI feed is working before submitting it to AI platforms.
IndexNow Status Panel
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Pending Queue | URLs waiting to be submitted |
| Sent Queue | URLs successfully submitted |
| Failed Queue | URLs where submission failed after all retries |
| Last Cron Run | When the IndexNow cron was last executed |
| Consecutive Failures | How many consecutive cron runs have failed (triggers auto-disable) |
| 24h Activity Chart | Visual bar chart of success vs. failed submissions over the past 24 hours |
| Success vs. Failed Totals | Overall submission statistics |
Cron Runtime Toggle
The dashboard includes a toggle to enable or disable the IndexNow cron runtime without going through the full settings page. Useful for temporarily pausing submissions during site maintenance.
- Enabled (green) — Cron is active and will process the queue on the next run
- Auto-disabled (red) — Cron was automatically disabled due to high failure rate
- Disabled (grey) — Manually disabled
Check Google Indexed Pages
The Check Google Indexed Pages button opens a site:yourstore.com Google search in a new tab. This shows approximately how many pages Google has indexed for your store — a quick sanity check. If the number is much lower than your actual product count, there may be indexing issues that your sitemap can help resolve.
Multi-Store Support
If you have multiple OpenCart stores, use the Store dropdown at the top of the admin page to switch between stores. All settings, sitemaps, AI feeds, and IndexNow queues are managed independently per store.
