The Email Groups<\/strong> feature in your Email Templates extension for OpenCart provides an efficient way to manage email communication. With this feature, the admin can create groups of email addresses for targeted email campaigns, making it a valuable tool for organizing and streamlining email management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Features of Email Groups<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Create Email Groups:<\/strong>
    Admins can create new email groups with ease. Click on the Create New Group<\/strong> button, enter a name for the group, and click Add<\/strong>. The group will be created instantly and ready for use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Add Bulk Email Addresses:<\/strong>
    Add multiple email addresses to a group in one step. Navigate to the Add Emails to Group<\/strong> tab, enter email addresses (comma-separated), select the desired group from the dropdown menu, and click Add Emails to Group<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Import Email Addresses:<\/strong>
    The extension offers multiple ways to import email addresses into groups:\n
      \n
    • From One Group to Another:<\/strong> Copy email addresses from one group to another.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Based on Reference Groups:<\/strong> Remove or add email addresses by comparing two groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • From Database Tables:<\/strong> Select any table from your database that contains email addresses, specify the column with the email addresses, and assign them to a group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Based on Product Purchases:<\/strong> Import email addresses of customers who purchased specific products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • From CSV File:<\/strong> Upload a CSV file containing email addresses and assign them to a group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Remove Emails by Reference:<\/strong>
      Remove email addresses from a group using another group as a reference, ensuring precise management of email lists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • When adding the email address, the extension validates the email address and also skips duplicate email addresses in the same group<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      How to Use the Email Groups Feature<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. Creating a New Group:<\/strong>\n

        • Go to the Email Groups<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Click on the Create New Group<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Enter the group name in the provided field and click Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
