Thank you for choosing PDF Invoice PRO for your OpenCart store. Due to the size of the package, primarily because of the inclusion of the mPDF library, please follow these steps carefully to ensure a successful installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installation Steps<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Extract and Upload Files:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Extract the contents of the downloaded package.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Navigate to the upload<\/code> folder inside the extracted files.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Copy the contents of the upload<\/code> folder to the web root directory where your OpenCart is installed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Ensure that the files and folders are merged with the existing ones in your OpenCart installation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    No Core File Modifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Rest assured, this extension does not modify any OpenCart core files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Access and Configure the Extension:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • After uploading the files successfully, log in to your OpenCart admin panel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Navigate to Productivity Apps > All Apps<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Locate PDF Invoice PRO<\/code> in the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click the Install<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Next, click Edit<\/strong> to configure the extension.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Ensure all necessary fields are filled out, and save the extension. This step is crucial for proper operation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Refresh Modifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        • Go to Extensions > Modifications<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • You should see the PDF Invoice PRO<\/code> OCMOD listed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Click the Refresh<\/strong> button to clear the modification cache and activate the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Testing the Extension:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          • After completing the above steps, test the extension to ensure it functions as expected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Important Notes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            Base Plugin Requirement (For OpenCart 2 & 3):<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            • This extension requires the Base Plugin<\/strong> to be installed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • If the Base Plugin is already installed, you can skip this step.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • If the Base Plugin is not installed, you will not see the Productivity Apps<\/code> link and will be unable to access the module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Refer to the Base Plugin installation documentation for details on installing the Base Plugin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              OpenCart 4 Users:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
                \n
              • The Base Plugin installation step is not applicable for OpenCart 4. You can proceed directly with the installation and configuration of PDF Invoice PRO.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
                \n\n\n\n

                Install PDF Invoice Generator extension via Extension Installer (Installation Method for Older Version)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                  \n
                1. Login to your admin panel<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. Go to Extension > Extension Installer. Upload this package (pdf-invoice-pro-x.x.x.ocmod.zip)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                3. Go to Extensions >\u00a0Productivity Apps<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                4. You will see\u00a0PDF Invoice Generator<\/strong>\u00a0in the list<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                5. Click on the Install button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                6. Click on the Edit button now and you can set up the extension as per your need.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                7. Go to Extension > Modifications. Click on the Refresh Modification button to refresh your modification cache. You will see PDF INVOICE <\/strong>in the modification list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                8. Test the extension before going Live by creating dummy order and try updating the order status and check if you receive the pdf invoice attached in the email received.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                9. Also, test the Download PDF invoice button that appears in the customer order list and order info pages.
