When you have installed lightning cache extension you may note the preferred URL mentioned in the product edit form page are all same. This is because of the lightning cache extension and it has nothing to do with the canonical extension.

You will need to disable “products links unification” in the lighning cache extension setting.

Go to Lightning Cache Setting > Troubleshooting and disable “Products Links Unification“
