HuntBee / OpenCart terms
- Event
- An OpenCart notification that something happened. Think “doorbell”.
- Queue
- A stored to-do list of background work waiting to be processed.
- Cron / Scheduler
- A server schedule that calls HuntBee so due background work can run.
- Repair
- A Suite lifecycle action that restores operational setup while preserving data according to the data-safe repair policy.
Tracking terms
- GA4
- Google Analytics 4.
- GTM
- Google Tag Manager, a container that can load/configure tracking tags.
- Google tag / gtag
- Google's browser tag used by Analytics and advertising products.
- Pixel / Tag
- Browser-side tracking code used by advertising/analytics platforms.
- CAPI / Events API / Conversions API
- A provider's server-side event-delivery API.
- Event ID
- An identifier representing one semantic occurrence. Some platforms use matching IDs to deduplicate browser/server copies.
- Deduplication
- Preventing two copies of the same conversion from being counted twice where the provider supports it.
- Consent Mode
- Signals that tell supported tracking systems which storage/user-data/personalization uses are allowed.
- Attribution
- Connecting an order to the visit/campaign that led to it, such as source, medium, campaign or ad click ID.
- First touch
- The first attributable visit stored for the customer journey.
- Last touch
- The latest meaningful attributable visit before the order.
- UTM parameters
- Campaign labels in a URL such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign.
- Prepared
- In HuntBee Event Log, a browser payload was created. It is not proof that the provider received it.
- Queued
- A server event has been stored for background delivery.
SEO terms
- 301 Redirect
- A permanent instruction sending an old URL to a new relevant URL.
- 404
- A not-found response.
- Canonical URL
- The preferred/main URL representing duplicate or strongly equivalent content.
- Crawling
- A search/discovery system fetching a page. Crawling does not guarantee indexing.
- Indexing
- A search system storing/processing a page so it can potentially appear in search.
- noindex
- A page-level request asking supported search engines not to include the page in their index.
- robots.txt
- A public crawler-access file. It is not a security file and is not the same as noindex.
- Structured Data / JSON-LD
- Machine-readable facts describing entities such as products or organizations.
- XML Sitemap
- A machine-readable list/map of important public URLs.
- IndexNow
- A protocol for notifying participating search engines that URLs changed; receipt is not an indexing guarantee.
