Templates used by the extension
- Back-in-stock notification — sent to the customer when the product is available again
- Subscription acknowledgement — confirms to the customer that their alert was recorded
- Admin alert — notifies the store admin when a new subscription is created
- Email verification OTP — used by the premium stock alert page to verify guest email addresses
Creating or editing a template
- Open the Templates tab.
- Click Create New Template or open an existing one.
- Set the label and email options: subject, sender name, sender email, reply-to, and BCC.
- Use the layout generator to build the email from a pre-built layout, or write the HTML directly.
- Use the Preview button to verify how the email will look when rendered.
- Assign the template from Settings → Email Setting for each email type.

Using the generator
- Select a simple layout style
- Choose a matching sample content file
- Adjust the email width and four color inputs
- Generate the layout into the email editor
- Refine the content and preview it before saving
Developer note
Developers can create additional simple layout files and content sample files for faster template creation, reusing the same placeholder variables and layout generator workflow already built into the extension.
Multi-language template assignment
For multi-language stores, the extension supports assigning a different template per language. This ensures each storefront language sends the correct email subject and content for that language’s customers.
